Knowledge Sharing and Stakeholder Engagement in ONE EARTH’s First Year

The success of European research depends not only on scientific progress but also on the ability to connect with people and organisations who can benefit from it. In its first year, the ONE EARTH project placed strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.

Throughout the year, project partners took part in conferences, workshops, and networking activities. These opportunities allowed ONE EARTH to share its vision of a circular bioeconomy, exchange ideas with other research initiatives, and engage with stakeholders from different sectors.

Engagement covered a wide range of groups, including:

  • the research community, where scientific knowledge and methods were discussed,
  • the farming and aquaculture sectors, which are central to the project’s focus,
  • policy and industry representatives, ensuring that the project’s outcomes will align with European priorities and market needs.

This early focus on dialogue has created a foundation for collaboration and mutual learning. As ONE EARTH moves forward, stakeholder engagement will remain essential to making sure that research outputs are relevant, practical, and impactful.
