The ONE EARTH project is pleased to highlight an upcoming workshop organised within the CIRCULARIS BioCluster, an initiative that brings together projects working on circular and sustainable solutions for biological residues. As part of this collaboration, the VALORISH and PROMISEANG projects are co-organising a session at EUBCE 2026 titled “Blue Biomass to High-Value Products.”
The workshop will take place on 21 May 2026 in The Hague and will focus on innovative approaches to the circular valorisation of blue biomass. The session will explore how marine resources and by-products can be transformed into high-value bio-based products through advanced technological and biotechnological solutions.
Key topics will include biorefinery scale-up, computational modelling, marine resource valorisation, and sustainable pathways for processing fish residues. The workshop will feature contributions from partners such as IDENER, Blue Synergy, and the University of Vigo, offering insights into ongoing research and collaborative activities within the cluster.
Participation in events such as this workshop highlights the importance of cross-project collaboration in advancing the circular bioeconomy. By bringing together expertise from different initiatives, the CIRCULARIS BioCluster supports the development of innovative solutions that contribute to more sustainable and resource-efficient value chains.
The workshop will take place at the World Forum in The Hague (Room North America) from 11:15 to 12:45. Participants attending EUBCE 2026 are warmly invited to join the session and engage with the latest developments in blue biomass valorisation.
